There’s nothing quite like seeing the smile on a rider’s face when they ride a section of trail they didn’t think was possible - all to the sounds of encouragement & celebration from other riders in the group.
Our passion is empowering women/femmes to be curious, playful and confident on their bikes, and building a strong and fun community of female riders everywhere we go.
We are 100% committed to creating a safe, welcoming, non-competitive and fun environment for all women/femme riders. No matter your identity, skill-level, body shape, race, or anything else, we look forward to welcoming you into our riding community!
Who We Are
Jen Sawyer (she/her)
The one constant in my life has been mountain biking. It’s been my foundation through multiple careers, relationships, life phases, and whatever else held my attention for a minute.
When cancer ended my military career, I was lost. Getting back on my bike gave me hope, and discovering that I could empower other women to love singletrack and fix their own damn bikes gave me purpose. (I kicked cancer’s ass, by the way).
So I made bikes, and empowering women, my full-time gig. I studied. I collected certifications. I rode. I traveled. I volunteered. I rode & traveled some more. Every single day, I set out to expand my knowledge of all things bikes, so that I can effectively pass some of that knowledge - and stoke - on to other women/femmes.
In this “third act” of my life, my mission is to empower as many women/femmes as I can – both on the bike, and learning to fix their own damn bikes.

Industry Partners
At Singletrack Addict, we call on our extensive network of friends to help with instructional clinics and retreats whenever we can. All of our partner instructors/coaches have years of experience and at least one internationally-recognized industry certification. We only bring in instructors/coaches we know well. This approach allows us to provide you a diversity of coaching styles, and it keeps our courses affordable.
